EXQUISITE CORPSE II

Joe Baiza, electric guitar; Dan Clucas, cornet; Alicia Mangan, tenor saxophone; Dwight Trible, voice; Kira Vollman, voice and multiple instruments; Rich West, percussion.

A reprise of the acclaimed sound. 2004 concert (read reviews) based on a musical interpretation of the surrealist technique of Exquisite Corpse--a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled--and designed specifically for the Schindler House. Six Los Angeles area improvisers, separated in space, presented a series of overlapping solo performances. As Greg Burk exclaimed in the LA Weekly, "Liberté, égalité, variété."
